Scott Winston, MD
Scott D. Winston, M.D., a native of Sheridan, returned home in 1990 to establish The Winston Clinic, P.A. Dr. Winston graduated from Sheridan High School in 1974, Ouachita Baptist University in 1978, and Ross University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his internship at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in 1985 and then entered the United States Air Force. He served on active duty for a total of 5 years, 3 years as the Flight Surgeon for the 7th Airborne Command and Control Squadron at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS, and then 2 years when he was selected to become the Chief of Clinical Services for the Stealth Fighter Program based out of Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been the owner of The Winston Clinic, P.A. for the past 31 ½ years prior to turning over the reins to Mainline Health Systems. Dr. Winston and his wife, Kelly, have 4 grown children and 3 grandsons. His hobby is raising bucking bulls that participate in competition across the United States with the PBR and PRCA. He owned the 1st Firehouse Subs Restaurant west of the Mississippi River and co-owned the largest territory for Firehouse Subs as an Area Representative for Arkansas and parts of 6 adjoining states before selling the territory in 2020. As he is winding down his medical career, he is proud to be able to serve his hometown and surrounding communities as part of the Mainline Health team.
