Joshua Wood, LPC graduated with his Masters in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech in 2008. Prior to being a therapist, he was a public school teacher for five years. Since 2009, he has been working in Arkansas with individuals and families in a variety of outpatient settings.
He enjoys learning about counseling and gaining new skills by reading books and attending training online. He currently has advanced training in topics such as grief, trauma, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
He is often finding new hobbies to engage in like carpentry, 3d printing, crocheting, various art forms, guitar, and video games.
