Meredith has a passion for counseling teenagers through older adults. Each referral is individually assessed for their needs regarding the frequency of sessions, offer individual and/or family sessions, consider telehealth sessions for your convenience and will coordinate with your primary care physician regarding medication management. She also has had advanced training in crisis intervention/deescalation, high conflict relationships, and substance use disorders. Her theoretical style involves, but is not limited to Cognitive Behavioral, Reality Based, Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment, Dialectical Behavioral therapies and sampling from other modalities as well.
Although Meredith is very direct, she is compassionate towards each of her clients and encourages them to come as they are. She urges each client to be forthcoming from the start, have a sense of humor, and to engage in counseling as a means of self-care. Meredith is a wife, mother and a Christian. She might be spotted within the community at sporting events yelling and supporting her children, sipping on a large cup of coffee or trying to spread God's love through church events and outreach. No matter your life choices, you are welcome.
